3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT1500T features two adhesives, one on each side of a 1.52 mm viscoelastic acrylic foam core, designed for robust performance even to complex contours and difficult automotive paint surfaces. Foam core provides stress relaxation when exposed to high application loads, and maintains tight bond-line aesthetics under normal conditions. T-liner allows for PSA tabbing methods.

An Ideal Attachment Tape for Rigid Clear Coat Paint Systems Developed specifically for attaching exterior trim and other parts to automotive paint surfaces, 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT1500T features a 1.52 mm acrylic foam core with two different adhesives. The liner- side adhesive is formulated for very high initial and final adhesion to scratch and mar-resistant paint systems. The non-liner-side adhesive is excellent for bonding to automotive trim and other components. The viscoelastic foam core conforms well even to complex geometries, and is engineered for stress relaxation when exposed to high stress loads, and maintains bondline aesthetics under normal stress loads. The inconspicuous dark gray color of 3M tape PT1500T helps to ensure high levels of satisfaction among consumers. The tape features a red polyethylene liner on one side. On the other side, a removable polyethylene-coated clear T-liner is for suitable for heat-bond and other PSA tabbing methods. The red, 3M branded liner is silicon-coated on both sides to provide easy one-piece release and efficient tape application.
